Hey Troubadour faithful - Carly and I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend and thank you for allowing your humble hosts to have a week off to spend time with our friends and family. And I’m sure our audio editor Sam, didn’t mind having a week off either!
We have another great episode for you today. I know it seems like I say that every week but I really am being honest every time I say it.
This week’s featured artist is truly a breath of fresh air and gives me hope for the future of country music. If you’ve never heard of William Beckmann you are in for a real treat today.
Growing up in Del Rio and with musical aspirations, he was fortunate to meet the great Radney Foster while still in highschool. He’s kept in touch with Radney and used him for guidance throughout his career.
Along with Radney, William has teamed up with one of our favorites here at The Troubaour, Randy Rogers who has also taken William under his wing to help further his career.
Personally I think there are big things in the future for this young and super-talented artist!
To find out more about William and his music along with his social media links go to www.williambeckmann.com or better yet, just go to thetroubadourpodcast.com and click on the blog for this episode with links.
So pour yourself a cold one and light up your favorite hand-rolled Hennessy Cigar because here comes episode #128 of The Troubadour featuring one of the best young artists I’ve heard in a long time: William Beckmann.
