Welcome to episode #123 of The Troubadour.
Ben Danaher is a Nashville songwriter with Texas Roots. Thanks to Carly and I’s mutual friend, Blake Chaffin, we were able to get Ben booked to be a guest on the show.
As you’ll hear in the interview, even though Ben really cut his teeth as an artist and songwriter in Texas, he was drawn to Nashville to try his hand as a singer-songwriter in Music City where he lives and works out of today.
Ben’s writing style is very much in my wheelhouse and if you like songs that can really hit you in the “feels”, Ben is your type of songwriter too. Below are a couple of YouTube videos of Ben performing some of his tunes that I totally dig so I have to share them:
Ben, spent a lot of his time prior to the pandemic touring as Aaron Lewis’ supporting act.
In January Ben started recording and working on a new project with another past guest on the podcast, Sean McConnell. I’m super stoked to hear this record which is hopefully going to a fall release.
